As of this date no course had been set. The snow is still heavy and it is most likely that the course will not be finalized until Thursday or Friday before the event. It is also most likely we will have our usual compliment of hungry mosquitos so come prepared.
The Chelan County Sheriff will be on site to conduct safety and sound inspections. Make sure your bike is up to date.

Here is a comment from a new rider, please help her out:
Got signed up but wondering about a few specific ride details like what kinds of terrain will be available for riding and how far between gas stops or gas available? My bike is good for about 50 miles max if I nurse it a little. Would you have any additional details as we approach the big day? Thanks!!

Check our helmet cam video out. Some of the ride we did was on the expert course. The easy course is mostly either dirt road or two track easy trail. One gas stop at about 50 miles in Ardenvoir. Have fun!

Thanks. So Troy/Amy, you had a gas stop at about 50 miles, can one assume the whole event ran 100 miles or less? My big concern is total mileage and how far between gas stops as the large tank I ordered for my bike leaked badly so I am stuck with the stock 2.4 gallons for this ride. Might have to carry some additional in a backpack? Any more insight on mileage?

Any update on course conditions? When I was at Lake Wenatchee a couple of weeks ago, there was still a lot of snow at higher elevations.

Most smaller bikes will get at least 50 miles per gallon. I wouldn’t worry about it.

The course has been set and the roll charts are painstakingly being prepared. Enough snow has lifted to make a fun run this year. Keep your fingers crossed that we don’t get an early June surprise!

Are you planning to email or publish a GPS route of the course like last year?

Did the area get anymore snow?

I’ve rode this event 5 times but never camped over night before. This time I have a buddy that wants to camp Friday night. Can we park a 26 foot self-contained trailer in your parking area ? Do you allow camp fires ?
Or do I need to camp in the State Campgrounds?

The Answers to the questions above that I can provide:
We do not publish the course in advance so no GPS to be e-mailed. I believe we MAY have them available at registration.
Yes we got some snow but no changes in the course that I know of.
Camping in the parking lot is allowed for Friday night. It is not reserved and on a space available basis. THERE ARE NO FACILITIES!!!!!. Please do not make a campfire on the ground. Most people find camping is better at the State Park Campground(s), Midway Village, The Cove, THousand Trails, or stay at Mountain Springs Lodge or the Pine River Ranch B&B.
