Barabra, Don and crew~ This is way late; however, I want to thank you and the entire club for all the hard work and time that was placed into making the 2008 run such a success. I am truly looking forward to this years run!

The Answers to the questions above that I can provide:
We do not publish the course in advance so no GPS to be e-mailed. I believe we MAY have them available at registration.

Yes we got some snow but no changes in the course that I know of.

Camping in the parking lot is allowed for Friday night. It is not reserved and on a space available basis. THERE ARE NO FACILITIES!!!!!. Please do not make a campfire on the ground. Most people find camping is better at the State Park Campground(s), Midway Village, The Cove, THousand Trails, or stay at Mountain Springs Lodge or the Pine River Ranch B&B.

I've rode this event 5 times but never camped over night before. This time I have a buddy that wants to camp Friday night. Can we park a 26 foot self-contained trailer in your parking area ? Do you allow camp fires ?
Or do I need to camp in the State Campgrounds?

Thanks for posting a blog with current information. I was at the Black Dog Dual Sport event down in Hood River, OR and rode through snow on Cayuse Pass last Friday to get there. On the BDDS course there was snow at a small portion of the course and LOTS of mud from the moisture.

Looking forward to the Dirty Face and have the knobbies mounted and broken in.

The course has been set and the roll charts are painstakingly being prepared. Enough snow has lifted to make a fun run this year. Keep your fingers crossed that we don't get an early June surprise!

Most smaller bikes will get at least 50 miles per gallon. I wouldn't worry about it.

Any update on course conditions? When I was at Lake Wenatchee a couple of weeks ago, there was still a lot of snow at higher elevations.

Thanks. So Troy/Amy, you had a gas stop at about 50 miles, can one assume the whole event ran 100 miles or less? My big concern is total mileage and how far between gas stops as the large tank I ordered for my bike leaked badly so I am stuck with the stock 2.4 gallons for this ride. Might have to carry some additional in a backpack? Any more insight on mileage?
